Dreams vs Reality - Private Photography

These photos are a series of work I did in my own time. The theme is a surreal narrative style series that explores the idea of Dreams vs Reality. The clocks are a reoccurring theme in my series. The clocks are like a weight dragging you down reminding you that reality is waiting and you can’t live in a dream forever. Time is the one thing you cannot control. Time will keep moving even though you may want to stop it. The inverted pieces represent the idea that it is possible to get trapped in one’s own imagination and blur the line between what’s real and what’s not. The clock is a family heirloom passed down from my Great Grandfather.
